14 the one sowing scatters the word. 15 but these are the path upon which the word is scattered: and When they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word having been sown in their hearts. 16 And these are the like - the rocky soil upon which the seeds are scattered – who, when they hear the word, immediately and with joy receive it 17 but only for a short time, and they have no root in themselves. Then, tribulation or persecution having arisen because of the word, they soon fall away. 18 And these are the thorns among which the seeds are scattered: the ones having heard the word 19 but the cares of this age, and the deceit of riches, and other desires intervene and choke the word, making it unfruitful. 20And these are the good earth upon which the seeds are scattered: whoever hears the word and welcomes it and bears fruit: one, thirty fold; another, sixty; and another, one hundred. | 14The sower spreads the word.15 but some are like the path where the seed was spread. They hear the word, 19 but the cares of this age, and the deceit of riches, and other matters intrude, so choking the word and making it unproductive. 20 And others are like the good soil where the seeds were spread. Anyone who hears the word and welcomes it and produces fruit: one, thirty times over; another, sixty; and yet another, a hundred. |
